Larger Parrots we raise .
We feed our larger parrots a wider variety of pellets for 2 reasons.
1. It gives them a broader choice
2. It gives their new family a larger choice on what to feed because they are use to several kinds of pellets.

We do about 3 TBSP of Seed on top, we use Kaytee parrot formula but any larger hookbill seed diet is fine. We feed fresh fruit and vegetables, Beak appetite, Cheerios, rice cakes. We share our meals; generally anything that is good for you is good for them.

Water
Clean water is very important for our birds. Ideally two water changes each day, rinsing bowls thoroughly with hot water until any slime build up is removed and refilling with cool clean water. We suggest running the bowls through the dishwasher for a good cleaning once a week in addition to the daily changes. Having extra water bowls on hand makes this an easy task to maintain.
